We take the old tub out, frame the new layout, set the base and the wall system, build the niches you actually use, and finish with the glass.

05The threshold
Seven inches
One step, two trades, and nobody to point at.
The height of your finished floor sets the height of the patio outside it. The patio still has to fall away from the house. When the same person owns both numbers, the step lands right and the water goes where it should.

Here is roughly what a patio costs, and what moves it.
Typical 2026 installed range from national cost data. Not our quote. We price your job after we see the site.

- 02Material classA standard paver and a premium one are not the same line item.
- 03Base depthEight inches of compacted aggregate costs more than four and is why the patio is still flat in ten years.
- 04AccessIf a machine cannot reach the back yard, the base goes in by wheelbarrow.
- 05What comes out firstRemoving an existing slab or deck is its own day.
We price it fair and we tell you the number straight, once we have walked the site with you.
